John Dibbets
Pastor
Pastor John grew up in a Christian family, deeply rooted in Pentecostal faith. His Indonesian parents emigrated to the Netherlands in 1955 and passed on the fire of their faith to their children. From a young age, John developed a deep love for Jesus. After a powerful touch from the Holy Spirit, he was baptized at the age of twelve. This moment gave direction to his life and ignited his heart for worship. For years, he served various churches with singing, guitar playing, preaching, and Bible teaching, until God called him to lay the foundation of Praise.
Nur Dibbets
Pastor
Nur was born in Turkey and grew up in a traditional Turkish family. In 2002, she had a supernatural vision in which Jesus revealed Himself to her. From that moment, she radically gave her life to the Lord. In 2003, she was baptized and married John. In the same year, she experienced a deep touch from God, which awakened in her a desire to serve Him and help people restore, heal, and grow in their faith.
Building God's Kingdom together
Serving as a family
John and Nur are blessed together with three children and three grandchildren. As a family, they serve with gratitude in the Kingdom of God. Their children are actively involved in proclaiming the Word, prayer, worship, and other forms of ministry.
Leadership from the heart
Pastors John and Nur carry a passion to see Christians grow in their calling. Raising up leaders is an important part of the mandate the Lord has given to the church. God's guidance is central to this. Members are given space to grow in faith, character, and gifts. In various teams, from cleaning and children's church to studies, worship, and even mission trips, young and old build together.
